Taske looked at the bird, Keela had told Taske that they where going to be friends, but she did not know; she had just meet the bird after all. But it seemed that life had a bit of a since of humor; the day Taske lost everything she gained it back just in a different way; first Sitca who said she was going to be her mother, than this bird who said she was going to be her companion. But Taske knew that the past had made unhealing scares and no matter how much Sitca wants to be her mother or this bird wants to be her friend it was going to be much harder then just saying it, her heart was broken, her trust scattered, and it will be hard to get.
Keela clicked her beak at her again, showing her impatience of her. Taske resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the eagle, she had done that many time since she landed by her little hiding spot. "Come, chick tis only a little feather, it will show the other eagles who feel the pull of the taske that you have a companion." Taske did not understand what the bird said when she talked like that, what did she mean by pull?
Taske sighed, "Fine." With that the bird's mouth curved upward. She turned her head to her spreed wing and pulled out one of her flight feathers, then turned back to her and walked closer. Keela leaned down and tangled the feather into Taske's cheek fur, right below her ear.
The eagle nodded then a pleased look on her face. "There we are, now we are bound, forever." The bird bowed then, her wings spreed as she head lowered. "It is a pleasure young Taske."
Taske's eyes narrowed, "Bound?" She did not know that the feather had more meaning then what was already said but it seems that the bird was omitting part of the truth, something Taske was not a fan of.
"Yes my young friend, bound. You cannot be rid of me if you wanted to." A mischievous gleam entered the birds eyes; while Taske's narrowed further. Taske growled softly, and then pounced aiming for the bird, she did not liked to be tricked into agreeing to something. Keela took wing before she could even get a claw close to her and perched on a tree above her head. "Calm friend, you will not be angry for long, for we are going to be as close as sisters."
Taske's eyes closed at that, pain filling her. "Then... you will die... too..."
