Scars/Markings/Anything Else: A scar rests under his left eye and trails over his muzzle, resting against his lip on the right side. Scars hide under his coat, other obvious ones are the lines and lack of fur on his ankles and claw marks on his left shoulder.
Health: Perfect health.
Personality:
Violent: Nightmare is known to be violent toward everyone, first meeting or no. He's not afraid to hurt males, females to an extent and never pups. Males and females must be careful for Nightmare isn't just physically violent, his words are known to cut like a knife and hurt the weak hearted and minded ones.
Defensive: He always has a defensive approach when being spoken to. The action isn't on purpose, instinct has Nightmare always on defense, even when around pups as they could have been told to get information from him and he has always had trust issues.
Calm: Though violent, Nightmare is always calm, knowing that having a level head is better then being crazed (shock, fear, insane, etc.) His calmness allows him to have much patience with others as it doesn't do any good to rush anyone.
Protective: No one messes with what belongs to him. He can't stand when a mother would leave their pup or a female wasn't protected by their mate. And so he takes it upon himself to be better than that. Anyone who tries to harm or take what's his will get a solid beating.
Leader: Even though he didn't take over his sire's old pack, Nightmare knows how to lead and how to do so correctly, he cares whether there are problems within that need solved or what others have to say. He likes to hear others opinions, it makes him a better leader and one others will follow.
Secretive: Nightmare, through all that he's been through, knows how to hold secrets. There are very few who see the real him that he has learned to hide at a young age. Like the fact that many things make him hurt, he's not heartless, just knows not to show the hurt and hides it behind his violent nature. Those he becomes very attached to are even allowed to call him Night.
History: He was born on a moonless night, the fourth of five pups to the same sire and dam. He was originally named Night when he was born for the time he was born and for the blue shine his black coat gave. Though his dam cared for him as she should have, she didn't exactly care for him and he was usually left alone to his own devices. Life continued on like that until he got into an argument with his sire that only started because he didn't like how his older brother was being treated. The arguments continued, but when he turned three Nightmare started getting into fights with the other wolves when it was originally just 'play' before hand. A fight started with his sire which ended with a scar crossing under his left eye over to his lip on the right side. Nightmare left with a threat that he'd be back.
A few years later he did come back, only to find out he had a younger brother and his dam missing. A while passed with no one caring he was back. Until he challenged his sire for the right to pack leader, which was accepted. The fight was started at dawn and lasted all day. Darkness had started to seep across the land when Nightmare made the final blow, the moon shining upon his dark coat that now stained with blood. Standing over the fallen form of his sire, Nightmare changed his name from Night to Nightmare before leaving his older twin brothers in charge of the pack and leaving for good.
