[Kai Tavos]

[div align="center"]The sun had just began to set on the glorious day, a Striking young Brute found him self sitting upon a cliff. This cliff was not a ordinary cliff, it,unlike the others, gazed out upon a scenery that is breath taking. In this spot some have said that they reached the perfect place. So, did the young brute that sat upon the ledge think that was the case? In fact he did, to him this place was a haven for those who wish to be at peace. Well wouldn't you think the same, if you saw the view that this cliff only provided. Kai Tavos looked across the area that seemed to stretch on for ever. The black and red male, with multi colored eyes and a few distinctive markings, came to his paws. Closing his eyes he felt the breeze dance through his fur, like it was doing a type of tango. Kai did not mind it at all to him it felt like he was back home.

Back with his family, back before the attack that ended his parents life took place. The Young Brute strives so hard to keep the past in the past, but his mind just won't have it. His ears laid upon his head as the sun began to set even more. The stars begun to make their appearance with one flicker after another, He watched. Oh yes he watched them arrive, like he did every night since the deaths of his family. To him he believes that once one leaves this place they remain in the stars. In a way doing this made him feel like he was home, that non of that day happened. As strong as the brute is, he carries so much troubles with in him. At times he can control the troubles, but others he will crawl up in his self and stay like that for days.

He gazed at the sky and the sun had just cleared the horizon, the night sky was all stars. The flickered in the sky and he raised his maw into the air. Ears still layed back upon his head, as he let out a howl in to the night sky. His song rang throughout the land and he ust kept on howling. Kai soon lowered his head and took a seat upon his haunches. His eyes scanning the sky, just watching as he did the night before. And every night since then. [/div][/font]

The night was creeping up as the black male continued to walk. It was quiet as he speed up to a trot. Nightmare knew that he would take a while to get used to the silence; hearing an extra set of paws keeping pace beside was gone now. He sighed as he watched the day start to fade into night, his favorite time. Keeping a light pace along the plateau, Nightmare looked around. Such a beautiful scenery, just like his previous home. The desert with the large den setting in the ground. It had been perfect. But now it was lost, just like everything else was.

Snorting with a shake of his head, Nightmare raised his head to watch the stars. His ears shot up at a howl. He listened as the others song went on ill the end. Always taking chances and wanting to howl himself, the black wolf raised his head and parted his jaws to howl, whether to sing himself or to answer didn't register, he just sung for a while before ending the song and started walking as he waited for an answer.

The night rang on as Kai Tavos sat their looking at the stars. His mind just wondering off like it was a little pup exploring the world. In his case he just wanted to go back to what he had, before the fight took place. His ears swiveled upon his head as another song filled them, it was that of another brute whom was not that far off in the distance. Kai stood up upon his massive paws and turned in the direction of the other that also sang a song. Who could have called back, was the only thought that rang in his head. Was his curiosity a good thing, or will it bring him to conflict. Kai was unsure of this so he raised his head and let back a call, This one was a information call. It stated that he was on his way to see who this other was.

After lowering his head he proceed in a medium walk. His ears up and pointed foreword in alert, tail swaying gently as he made his way down from the area he rested. He was not sure as to who he would encounter, but Kai did know one thing, this other might as well be curious as who he was. His walk was not that long, the other was not as far off as he had intended. As Kai came closer to the other wolf, he noticed a brute standing their black as the night around them. Kai gave a slight bow of respect to the stranger before he spoke in a calm deep tone. "Hello their, My name is Kai Tavos. I herd your call from my sitting perch."

Pausing in mid-step, Nightmare's ears perked up as he listened to the answering call. His large paw fell at the information give. So the other wasn't that far away, that would make it easier to come upon each other. Walking a few paces more, he stopped and waited, ears erect to catch any sound.

When the other male finally came into view, Night's eyes gazed at the red marked black fur before looking back to meet the others eyes. After the male gave a slight bow and spoke, Nightmare nodded his head in respect and acknowledgement before seating himself and speaking with a somewhat clipped, commanding tone, "I am known as Nightmare. I had heard your song, and saw fit to answer."

Kai looked at the brute who also gave a slight greeting in return, Kai listened to the brute's introduction. So this fellow was called Nightmare, such a different name for a different Brute that stood before him. Kai gave a slight smile, and took a seat upon his haunches, his tail swayed gently as he looked at Midnight. "Well nice to have meet you Nightmare. So what has brought you to these parts?" Kai Tavos asked as he curled his front paws under his belly, laying down a bit letting the stars shine over him. The night was surely a beautiful one, and Kai knew that he was not the only one who thought that. To the surprise a lot of others enjoy the stars as much as he dose.

His yellow and purple eyes looked at the sky for a second then back at Nightmare. "So tell me Nightmare, when you look at the stars what do you see? I see the souls of those who had passed away in such a untimely manor. Kinda ironic if you ask me, something so beautiful rests up their with a violent past that haunts it." Kai was not sure what possessed him to start talking like that, but for some reason he did not feel like himself. He felt like he was listening to him talk out side of the his own thoughts, like he was not him at all. Kai shook his head free from it's fogginess and laid their waiting for a response from the brute who stood in front of him.

"Pleasure to meet you as well Kai Tavos. Whispers of a beautiful scenery is what brought me here. And assume the same with you." He left it open. If the other wished to take it as a question, Nightmare wouldn't say anything against it.

As he lay down, he tucked a paw under himself as he thought of the question. Nightmare remembered what he was told as a pup and it had stayed, so he answered with the memory in mind, "I see the battles that had taken place with those who have left, the stars play their tales out for the ones still living."

Turning his gaze to the stars, he watched as they glinted in the dark expanse of night sky. "You speak truth in that. Though there are more then those who have had untimely deaths resting up there." He spoke quietly, turning his gaze back to the mismatched ones of the other male.

Kai listened to Nightmare speak with such ease in his voice, This male was surely someone whom thinks in similar manors that Kai dose. He looked at the male whom was indeed here for the same reasons that Kai was here, For the beauty of the land, that was purely it. Kai Tavos nodded and spoke himself about the reasons he was here, and his reasons were dead close similar as that of Nightmare's. "That is correct Nightmare, i have too came here for the scenery that this place has to offer."

The next reply that this male let out, brought a smile to his face. It was not everyday that you came across someone who knows what the stars are about. With that Kai listened on as the male kept his words flowing, speaking of not only those with untimely deaths were in the stars. Kai nodded at that statement, he did not know that portion of it, and this male just shared knowledge with him. Kai looked away from the sky and looked at Nightmare whom was already looking at him.

"Oh, well that dose make since. After all everyone deserves a place with the stars after they pass from this world. So Nightmare, how much do you know about the stars existance. Me only what my father told me, and now i howl every night to let my family know i am alright. Enough with that, any other facts you might know."

Kai's presences was surprisingly calming to Nightmare. It was rare that he could be around another without a single show of aggression. He assumed it was also due to the scenery; the land was beautiful during this night.



The shining stars above dragged Nightmare's eyes away as he listened to the other male. It was true that everyone deserved a place up there.



Looking back at Kai who had finished speaking, he spoke again, the words continuing to flow like a stream.



"What I know of the stars is what my brother had told me. Not only has he spoke of those who deserve their place up there but even those who do no good receive a spot; the belief that the reason is to continue the battles with another that they did not finish."

Kai Tavos stood Their looking at Nightmare, as he spoke about how his knowledge was as vast as what his brother told him. Well i guess everyone knew that their is always room to grow with knowledge, One cannot simply learn everything in the world because things are always changing. Kai smiled at Nightmare he seemed to have a good relationship with his brother who ever that may be. "Oh i see that. Everyone deserves a spot up with the stars if i don't say so my self, as for you from how you talk about your brother did you guys have a good relationship." Kai said as he looked around the area, it was lovely at this time of a night. Kai was sure that his new found friend would think the same thing that Kai is thinking. He was glad that he meet this brute, he seems very nice and all, that was good.

Releasing a breath, Nightmare stared up at the stars before resting his head upon his paws. "You could say it was a good relationship. At times I did get angry with him but the lessons taught are engraved."

Such a beautiful night. Looking over at Kai, Nightmare asked him, "Your family up there Kai? I know most of mine is." To many members of his family are up there. Playing out their past in the stars.



Though a bit strange Kai was good company. He snorted at the thought that the other male would even be willing to travel together. Hmph, he glanced over, I'll ask him when we're about to part ways.
